Maddox | One Year Cake Smash | San Diego Children's Photographer{June 2019} When parents reach out to schedule a ONE year session, we go through a planning process. Sometimes parents know just what they want and sometimes they have no clue! When that is the case, I ask them about their little one's interests. Is there a favorite show? A favorite toy? A favorite food? I think it is fun to incorporate something that really symbolizes what they were into at this age in their session. In this little man's case, mom recognized he LOVED fruit - as I recall he hadn't even had refined sugar yet, so she didn't want to do cake! I LOVED the idea of a fruit smash so I assembled this little "fruit stand" set! It was a hit, he got to smush, mush and eat all the fruit he wanted and boy was it juicy! I loved the colors in this session....a bit of a rustic, nature vibe but I LOVE all the color pop from all the fruit! How sweet ;) is this session?
