This session was two firsts for me....first ALL OUTDOOR session and first 23 day old newborn!  As a general rule, newborn photographers try to stay in the 2 week window for newborn sessions....they tend to sleep better and they tend to curl up into the cute squishy poses that we love to see with newborns....but this handsome little guy didn't have any problems sleeping....he was a dream.  Additionally, we photographers love to control our light and environments....especially with newborns who can be so sensitive....but I have been wanting to explore outdoor sessions for a while now and it was a perfect fit for this family....not to mention our warm summer weather!  We found some amazing areas outside near their home and baby Canaan seemed to love it too, the warm air, the breeze, the birds chirping...it was beautiful....I absolutely loved it and I hope you do too!
